We are independent, Relate-trained counsellors, providing relationship and couples counselling in central Harrogate.
We provide help to both individuals and couples to improve their relationships, whether you are in a marriage, part of a couple, single, separating or divorced. A counsellor can also help if you are struggling with other relationships such as parents, friends, or family.
You may be looking at our website because you are unhappy, concerned, frustrated or angry and you want some help and support; or perhaps the COVID-19 'lock-down' may have highlighted existing issues in your relationships that you could have easily 'papered over', or simply ignored, during normal circumstances.
The issues we can help with are typically around:
- feeling of ‘growing apart’
- sex and intimacy
- parenting and family dynamics
- affairs
- relationships from the past
- bereavement
- physical and mental health

During counselling, individuals or couples are helped to talk openly and honestly and to think through an issue, or to work through a problem. The counsellor is trained to help people to understand themselves better and to help them make their own decisions about what to do next.
