Tara Gold MBACP, MCOSRT firstname.lastname@example.org 07958 138513
Tara is a qualified relationship counsellor and psychosexual therapist. She helps clients to explore and understand their relationships in a non-judgmental, empathic way. She is experienced in working with a wide range of issues that cause relationship difficulty- couple conflict, affairs, divorce and separation, parenting, impact of physical or mental health, bereavement, transitioning life stages etc.
Believing that one model of counselling does not suit everyone, she uses an integrative approach, drawing on systemic theory as well as psychodynamic, narrative, transactional analysis and cognitive behavioural theory. She enjoys working with individuals and couples and is sensitive to cultural and religious beliefs and sexual orientation. She is a member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP) and the College of Sexual and Relationship Therapists (COSRT) and adheres to their Code of Ethics and Practice Guidelines. She is also listed in the UK Counselling Directory.
Tara worked for Relate and now has a private practice in central Harrogate.
